GmbH was founded by Benjamin Alexander Huseby and Serhat Isik but also involves a whole community of friends from Berlin’s international techno, art and fashion scene.

GmbH, is the anonymous legal term of any corporation in Germany, equivalent to "Inc." or "Ltd". Community, collaboration and family is integral to GmbH’s work method.

With an industrial design aesthetic and skills, they focus on the gap between high fashion and streetwear, aiming for immaculate quality, high-end fabrics and perfect pattern cutting - all produced in Berlin. They create: clubwear, sportswear, workwear.

Huseby and Isik are both children of Muslim immigrants. Their heritage, as of both European and foreign descent, means they are very concerned about the perception of people that are seen as ‘the other’ in the current hostile climate. In the current polarising socio-political climate, they believe representation in both fashion and culture as a whole, of a multicultural society, as well as positive images of youth with immigrant backgrounds are essential to nurture progressive change. Fashion and how we dress are not trivial issues.

For this reason and though their roots are in menswear, their collections are not gender specific and use both male, female and non-binary models. They use fashion as a medium to represent something positive, inclusive and making very visual the power of diversity.

Sustainability both ecologically and financially is essential to GmbH, working with fabrics from storage and dead stock of factories normally working with famous fashion brands in Italy, France and Germany. They want to make use of the overproduction of fashion, making high quality garments from reclaimed materials that are not bound to seasons and that you should be able to wear forever.
